CREATIVE WRITING AND PUBLIC SPEAKING WITH PROFESSOR Kendad

    When my twin brother, CHEF KenDad, asked me to join him on OUTSCHOOL.COM, I was not sure if there was a place for me. However, after receiving personal requests from CKD's SMALL and LARGE HUMANS to offer a Creative Writing and Public Speaking class, I could not deny my enthusiasm to do just that.

    Therefore, I am very happy to announce that my very first offering will be the very Creative Writing/Public Speaking class of which I had previously mentioned: and I am very excited to begin.

    I have tutored for many, many, maaaaany years in various areas of education. I studied Mathematics, Engineering, Law, and English in college, and I spent dozens of years tutoring SMALL HUMANS in READING RECOVERY, BASIC MATH, ALGEBRA, LOGIC, SPELLING, AND WRITING. In fact, I have never turned down a request for help in any educational field. EVER!

    Regarding my qualifications to teach creative writing, I currently have a book that has been published, as well as a 2nd book I hope to have published this summer. And, just in case I didn't already have enough to do, I am working on the rewrites of a 3rd book, and in my spare time I have begun to outline the workings for a 4th.

    As far as my public speaking experience lies, I performed STAND-UP COMEDY for quite a few years in Detroit and the surrounding areas, as well as Chicago, Pennsylvania, Ohio, New York; and I even appeared on Ed McMahon's STAR SEARCH in the 80's. However, unfortunately, as much as I AB-SO-LUTE-LY "LOVED" performing, the lifestyle and financial reward never turned into a lucrative pursuit for my life. 

    Additionally, I belonged to a Public Speaking club named "Toast Masters," for about 3 years. I was the very youngest of a group of very old men wishing to express their thoughts and opinions on a weekly basis through designated speeches; the topics of which being decided arbitrarily. I think it was my refusal to smoke cigars, drink Brandy, and wear Houndstooth Tweed Jackets - mandatorily one size too small - with Factory Sewn Elbow Patches, that eventually caused me to resign.

    Happily, my many years of experience, talent, and knowledge have been directed towards helping younger generations to gain the ability to see that the incredibly complex and sometimes scary steps of life are not as scary as they think, while simultaneously building their confidence and trust in themselves.
